Here's a little something about me...
I'm from Hawaii, born and raised and grew up here all my life. My parents are from the Philippines and came to Hawaii to live a better life.
I graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa with a B.A. degree in Second Language Studies.
When I was taking Japanese, my Japanese tutor who was like an older sister told me that I should teach English someday, and told me that with a teaching degree I can go anywhere in the world, meet people, learn different cultures. I told her I wanted to travel to places and it never did occur to me then. I thought I would give it a try. I thought about all of my teachers in the past that have inspired me, and encouraged me, I thought that being a teacher doesn't seem that bad at all.
I am currently working as an English Teacher in Gogang Elementary School in South Korea, teaching to grades 1 through 6th.
